Post subject: Webcam after upgrade to 11.1
Archived from groups: alt>os>linux>suse (more info?)

Hi,

I have a Philips SPC1000NC, and it worked perfectly in 11.0. Now it is not
recognized, and I haven't no file /dev/video0. I have checked and it seems
ucvideo module is not active. If I try to modprobe uvcvideo I get the
following error message:

FATAL: Error inserting uvcvideo (/lib/modules/2.6.27.7-9-default/weak-
updates/updates/uvcvideo.ko): Invalid module format

Has anyone faced this problem ?

Francesco
