Post subject: Suse Bootsplash 9.2 Archived from groups: alt>os>linux>suse (more info?)
How do I create a new bootsplash screen for 9.2. Is it just a matter of
placing a new image in /usr/share/splash and calling mkinitrd ?

No. edit /etc/bootsplash/themes/SuSE for the Standard theme or create your
own maybe /etc/bootsplash/themes/yours edit the
file /etc/sysconfig/bootsplash and choose Theme=yours in the file.
