Recommender system for debian packages

Hello,

I am thinking on implementing a recommender system within a web site
to assist users on tracking relevant debian packages for their needs.
Therefore, I would like to ask you if such a system would be of the
interest of and helpful for the community, and if there would be any
chance of it being incorporated to the debian web site in the future.
