Can anyone tell me how to get Ubuntu 8.04's Synaptic Package Manager
to list Opera v9.52? It currently lists v.9.27 under Third-Party Software
in the category "World Wide Web (partner)", and there seems to be some
kind of disagreement between Synaptic Package Manager and Opera
about what the current name of the release repository is.

I added "deb http://deb.opera.com/opera/ lenny non-free" to the file
"etc/apt/sources.list", and now I see in Synaptic Package Manager's
"World Wide Web (non free)" category,

Opera 9.50-20080422.6 Opera browser
Opera-static 9.50-20080422.1 Opera browser

How can I get v9.52 in there?

try

deb http://deb.opera.com/opera/ stable non-free

That's where my 9.52 build came from. (I'm also running Ubuntu 8.04)

But in the lenny repo there's also 9.52. I don't know why he gets this
9.50.

Can I import Opera contacts from windows to Opera for ubun.. - Can I?

Problems downloading Opera 9.50 for Ubuntu - I am using Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04 and the Opera version 9.50 Beta 2. When I try to download the newest version from http://www.opera.com/download/ Ubuntu says I already have a newer version. Isn't the 9.50 version on that download page the newest?...

Keyboard stops responding in Opera 9.52 on Ubuntu 8.04 - If I open a new window by clicking on the + next to the tabs chances are that Opera will stop responding to keyboard input. Opera's pipermail/opera-linux - 1. Go to this link http://list.opera.com/mailman/listinfo/opera-linux 2. Click on the Opera Linux Archive http://list.opera.com/pipermail/opera-linux/ 3. It says I don't have permission. 4. I use to, even though I'm not a member. Strange. -- ..
