Post subject: Mouse and touchpad on laptop Archived from groups: alt>linux>suse (more info?)
I have both mouse1 the USB pointer and mouse2 the touch pad. I disable
mouse 2 the touchpad by unchecking the 'activeate this pointer'. Click
ok and exit sax2. It does not disable the touchpad. Reboot and the
touchpad is still working. I want the touchpad turned off because it
frigs up my typing.

have a look at the BIOS setup if it can be turned off there.
