Hi,

I've been looking an answer to this. I just installed a new
motherboard. It has a Realtek NIC onboard. I cannot get it to
work......here is the output of lspci:

03:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd.
RTL8111/8168B PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet controller (rev 01)
Subsystem: Foxconn International, Inc.: Unknown device 0d47
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 10
I/O ports at ce00 [size=256]
Memory at fdcff000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=4K]
Capabilities: [40] Power Management version 2
Capabilities: [48] Vital Product Data
Capabilities: [50] Message Signalled Interrupts: 64bit+
Queue=0/1 Enable-
Capabilities: [60] Express Endpoint IRQ 0
Capabilities: [84] Vendor Specific Information
Capabilities: [100] Advanced Error Reporting
Capabilities: [12c] Virtual Channel
Capabilities: [148] Device Serial Number 68-81-
ec-10-00-00-0f-6e
Capabilities: [154] Power Budgeting

I tried installing the drivers (at least I think I did). I see it
loaded using lsmod:

Module Size Used by
r8169 31049 0
r8168 32264 0

Am I missing something? I'm running CentOS........

Thanks in advance.

Does this mean you're going to shut up and go away now?

Try learning something about what you're doing, before you do it, next
time...
