Post subject: Kmail Features and Requirements
Archived from groups: linux>debian>maint>kde (more info?)

I am having trouble making some installed features of Kmail operative.

Features that don't appear to work:
1) running external linux commands lines throug the filter process
2) executing built in Header creation and editing actions
3) calling installed actions such as (reply_author & reply, * maybe
all others*) through the custom actions line in the filter dialogue

My question is if these features are actually installed and simply
rely on dependent packages I may not have installed, or settings in a
configuration file that are (perhapse) not available through the
options menus, or if these features are simply deisred features that
have yet to be built?

Thanks a bunch. Fell free to call me at (646) 373 - 2619

Sincerely,
Carvin
