I moved the opera6.ini file to save-opera6.ini. Thus, there was no
opera6.ini file when I started opera. That started correctly with a
GUI. Of course, it generates a new one with none of my personal settings
and makes me click on the license verification again. Thus, a
comparison from one opera6.ini file to the other will be completely
different. The only thing we've seem to have proven is that the problem
lies in the opera6.ini file. Where though... I cannot say...

Hey,

Sorry about the late response... was on vacation.

Interestingly enough... came back from vacation and now the problem no
longer happens. I'm using the new opera6.ini and it contains the same
plugin paths as the old one... also, there are no symlinks for any of
the directories in the Plugin Path.

Thanks
