Anybody know if there are CHM to PostScript or PDF conversion
applications that run under Linux? I am aware that there are applications
to view such files under Linux, but I would like to be able to convert
entire documents - sometimes, I find it convenient to have printed copies.

My understanding is that the view applications allow one to print out
portions of documents, which is not really very practical for my needs.

Have you tried printing to a file from your linux chm viewer?

The result will be a postscript file on your hard drive.
