Post subject: Bug#491547: debian-policy: Section 11.5 contradicts section 9.1
Archived from groups: linux>debian>bugs>dist, others (more info?)

Package: debian-policy
Version: 3.8.0.1
Severity: important

Section 10.5 point 4 says that the default document root should be
/var/www. But section 9.1 doesn't include such exception to FHS, and
thus there is a contradiction.

Either should an exception be made, or section 10.5 should be updated to
be FHS correct.
