Post subject: Bug#391468: xatitv: fails to start with: "GATOS: gatos_inita(): Invalid argument"
Archived from groups: linux>debian>bugs>rc (more info?)

Package: gatos
Version: 0.0.5-16
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

When trying to launch xatitv I get the following error message:
> xatitv
GATOS: No ATI PCI/AGP Cards ?
GATOS: gatos_inita(): Invalid argument
xatitv: gatos_init(): Invalid argument

and the program finishes, no UI is diplayed.

atitv gives the same:
> atitv snap test.ppm
GATOS: No ATI PCI/AGP Cards ?
GATOS: gatos_inita(): Invalid argument
Segmentation fault

I have a Radeon QD AIW with 64 MB RAM (I think):
