On my 11.1 x86-64 with gnome on a notebook I get the following message
when I click on My Computer: Could not display "sysinfo:///". There is
no application installed for this file type.

I got the same message on a desktop computer with a notebook drive in it
running 11.1 i586 32 bit.

What is the trouble with this?

Why was it not installed in the original installation like usual? Why do
these things change for no reason?

It was in my 11.1 install. Mind you, kio_sysinfo keeps crashing here, but that's a different gripe.
