Its not worth all that much as its not very rare. None I can see sold on
ebay.co.uk lately but on ebay.com theres quiet
a few. Its not much of a limited edition.
If you get an offer your happy to sell it for I would take it because I
really cant see you selling it for much more
then a normal uk dreamcast in the same condition. Your not looking at
anything thats very rare or in great demand. |

Well Ive been playing on the machine today.Still a great console IMO .
Was wondering though, having bought a HD TV with a VGA input I wonder
how improved the graphics would be if I were to buy a VGA lead?Can pick
them up on Ebay fairly cheaply. |

it ramps the resolution up to about 640*480 and certainly looks a hell
of a lot better.

May be rose-tintedness of how I rememembered things looked, but I don't
think it improves things *that* much. Plus only half of my bloody games
seem to support VGA output (which is 640x480 as far as I'm aware).

I think it looks worse. It's much sharper, yes, but it doesn't half
make the jaggies stand out.

The difference is that the VGA Box runs games in 480p Progressive Scan,
which often makes things like aliasing more noticeable (certainly does
on my Gamecube), though the picture quality overall is much better (some
would argue that it's *too* good). The one benefit with the VGA box is
that it forces the few DC games with poor PAL conversions to run in
60Hz, Virtua Fighter 3tb for instance. |

VGA makes some games look superb (Soul Calibur, Shenmue) but can make games
like SF3 look terrible (you see the edges of the fighters a lot more)
Most games work on vga with only a handful not working
Well worth it imo
