I have an Apple Time Capsule wireless router. It gets its Internet
connection from a CAT5 attached to a cable modem. I have a Tivo
Series2 and would like to use the Time Capsule's router rather than
buying a wireless adapter for the Tivo. This adapter seems to get the
Tivo onto the wireless network via the TC:

It's a Netgear FA120 10/100 USB 2.0 Tivo Ethernet Adapter (no
wireless). Would I just plug this adapter into the Tivo and then use
a CAT5 cable with male RJ-45 connectors on both ends to connect the
Tivo and TC? Shouldn't need any drivers correct? Is anything else
needed?

Depends on WHICH Series 2 you have. The newer dual-tuner models have a
cat-5 ethernet port built-in, no adapter needed. The earlier
single-tuner models will work as you describe.

This one doesn't have a cat-5 ethernet port built in. It's service
number starts with 540. Thanks.

Is it possible to connect the Tivo to a monitor? The Tivo has phone
audio/video outputs and S-video. However, the monitor only has VGA
input.

You might find a box somewhere that converts NTSC to a VGA signal. It won't
work as is, however.
