COAST TO ATMOSPHERE STUCK! - I am getting near the end of this great mod, but I am stuck. I am at the nuclear reactor. I have climbed the stairs and pulled the lever. I get a message that I now need to go back down the stairs and get back to the office to switch a switch to blow..

Come on. Little help here. Coast to Atmosphere. 12th map. I am supposed to
shoot all the combines, and trip some lever in the office that will blow up
the nuclear generator. Only trouble is the combines just keep coming. How is
this to be solved?

I went for the rocket launcher before I went up the elevator but the most
important thing was to stock up on health packs. I put them in the room next
to the elevator so I could run over them on the way back to the office
console. Another thing, duck down behind the console on the catwalk, collect
the goodies, pull the lever and run like hell back to the elevator. Take out
a couple of combine waiting for you outside the elevator room downstairs and
from there it was just run and gun. Don't try to take out all of the
combine...I don't think you can. It isn't that far back to the office and
once you're past that first set of stairs you're protected by the wall
almost all the way to the steps at the office. Tip: before you trip the
office console, quick save. Sometimes there's a bug at the ramp upstairs
when you run after Breen. Going through that fight once is enough.

I guess you haven't played HL2? The energy balls are an integral part of the
end game.

Thanks Randy, I will give this a try. I remember the energy balls from HL2.
The balls I am wondering about are shot from the bigger machine gun. They
are picked up by little orange disks lying about. Secondary trigger shoots
them and they careen off of stuff and finally explode. The energy balls in
HL2 were shot via the gavity gun.

Thanks again. I have really enjoyed this mod, but I have been stuck here for
3 weeks and have probably 3 to 4 hours trying to get past it. I'll let you

If you hit an enemy the effect is just about the same
