Ok. I haven't played in a coon's age so I managed to get the afternoon
free and fired up my game. I haven't added any mods since I played
last, and this is only the second time I've played since installing AL
back in October. I noticed that my sims have started autonomously going
to dressers and changing clothes at random. Sometimes into pjs,
sometimes into gym clothes, sometimes into everyday. I have no idea why
they are doing this because I've never had a sim do that on their own
before. Since I play with testingcheatsenabled true, the sim always
throws an error, too. I choose reset and if I don't direct the sim away
from there, it will happen again and again. Eventually, I had to get
rid of all dressers on the lot.
Granted, I only had time today to play one lot, but I tried it with
three different Maxis dressers (no custom dressers on the lot) and it
happened with each one.
The only thing I did since I played last was to get rid of all my custom
clothing and redownload only a few things that I know I use. I had
nearly 2 GBs of clothing and it was slowing down the game loading time
to a crawl. Even after I got rid of most of it and all of the custom
skintones except for the default replacements and the "fat" skins and
meshes from MTS2, it still took 45 minutes from the time I started the
game till I was able to enter the lot I played.
Any ideas on why my sims are suddenly so fashion conscious?

Thank you! I do not know where it came from because I had no mods by
dizzy in my game, but I did find an "autochange-and-pregnant-normal" mod
when I went through my downloads folder with Clean Installer. Since I
only install lots with Clean Installer, I have no idea how that snuck in
there!

Well, at least you found it. Lets us know if removing it fixed the problem.

A little girl asked her mother, 'Can I go outside and play with the boys?'
Her mother replied, 'No, you can't play with the boys, they're too rough.'
The little girl thought about it for a few moments and asked,
If I can find a smooth one, can I play with him?' |

I defragged tonight so hopefully that will speed up loading time and I
might get a chance to play again in the next couple of days! My husband
has been home for two weeks for the holidays and I've been kept busy
keeping him happy. <g>

That's the mod that people often recommend when someone wants to have
"pregnant sims wear normal clothing". I always find that dizzy's clothing
changing mods eff up my game so I always recommend Squinge because at least
it doesn't conflict with a bajillion things and doesn't make my sims line up
at the dressers.
Cheers!
