rogue spec

so far. I've just used preparation with only vanish - like in vanish run
prep vanish run some more from a persistent monster in pursuit -.

I am almost to coldblood - a few more levels. I've spec'ed (imho) for a pve
only. I've not considered PvP except in the terms if i have to go that
route the game must be over. heh

anyway, for what this is worth prep works fine with vanish, and the cool
downs seem to work just fine. getting ready to put the max into improved
vanish - most likely do that before coldblood. Aliase lvl 45 does just
excellent solo adventuring / questing, and spontaneous parties. Had no
complaints either.
Slice n' dice is totally hosed (imho) thanks to Bliz and the smooth change
they put on S n D (not). I get two large sounds when I try to use it, and
the "you're still in combat" message when I try to stealth in the middle of
the desert with no monsters within several parsecs - save for the one laying
KO'ed at my character's feet. Gawd, i will not use Slice n' dice in a
crowded room full of monsters for sure for sure. I can just see Aliase
standing there in SM and trying to stealth. Stupid look on her face with
beet red cheeks and all as pfffzzt pfffzzt stealth keeps misfiring and
every stinker monster turns and looks to where the pfffzzt pfffzzt is
coming from - Aliase. Pulling the plug from the wall comes to mind. I am
about ready to remove that s nd from the button bar. no kidding 1 time.

maybe a list of rogue problems should be submitted to Bliz. Or maybe not -
maybe they forgot about the rogue and nerfing it - hey - so lets not jog
their memory huh.

It's a very common talent spec, I used to use it myself. Certainly it
always worked perfectly for me.

What happens when you use Preparation whilst Cold Blood is not cooled
down? Do you get an error? Does the 10 minute cooldown on Preparation
start? Do other cooldowns like Sprint and Evasion get cleared?

the problem is, it clears all but my cold blood =( even when i'm fighting a
mob. still won't clear the timer wondering if maybe if i move it to the main
attack bar if it will clear it or not

Are you using standard UI button bars, or some mod to provide extra bars?

If the latter, maybe it's cooling down properly but your mod isn't
displaying it correctly?

I always had Cold Blood on one of the extra button bars from the
standard UI, and certainly never had any problems.
