Can't load servers

Well, it _was_ working earlier... Or maybe it was dream. But server search
is down again...

Mine came back yesterday. Played for a while, got a response from
Steam Support to delete everything in the steam folder except the
Steamapps, and Steam.exe. Since it was working I didn't bother.
Now this morning, same issue. Can't load any servers. So, I tried
their "fix"...obviously this will cause steam to update itself on loading.
Well, didn't work....jumped through all the hoops, but I'm right back
to not being able to load servers. I'm guessing this is on their end???
I've got two machines set up to play, different cd keys, and they both
have the same issue.
