Yikes... GTA IV is seeming more and more (at least to me) graphics over
gameplay... And as a mirror, the PS3 DS is inferior to the PS2 DS as
well... no analogue buttons???? What the hell??

Look, and forgive the poor English- Alls I know is that in SA you could cram
3 vehicles in CJ's house garage and more in other garages... In IV you got
space for at least 3 vehicles, but only two can be saved. Period.

Wow, what is this mystical fourth vehicle you speak of???? IV only lets me
keep two....

yeah, I spotted your growl in the PS groups :O) Do you reckon they're
trying to force people to use triggers or is it just penny
pinching/laziness?

No, but I still can. I'd have to park in there, jack a car, then go
back to the Alderney hideout and save. Wasn't worth the trouble but
now I'm curious. I just thought it was odd that there was a
functional 2-car garage there. That makes me almost certain they were
intending on you taking over the house in the story at some point.

Actually I'd say jack a car and drive over a bridge then come back. If
it's gone already you can save time doing nay of the rest :O)

I was just thinking, there's the mission where you take the girl for a
test drive with her car and nab her instead, could it have been her
house? You meet her again later and her goons attack you.

Actually I think it's both- They're forcing people to use triggers *because*
of their penny pinching laziness....

Well not being a GTAIV player, I can't comment on the new method of storing
vehicles - do you really just park them out on the street? What if some
Russian hoodlum comes and nicks them...?

The four-vehicle limit in SA was for all garages, so you could get (for
example) four HPV1000s in his Grove St garage.

If you think about it, a finite limit is reasonable. Otherwise, you have to
start writing savegame code that has a variable-length structure instead of
having all the game parameters in predictable places...

As Paul answered, it was in SA.

:O) There's a yellow marker for the space, about enough for two cars.
I did park two cars and a bike once and they seemed okay but
eventually one of the cars disappeared. If you park a cop car of any
description it will almost definitely be used to transport a felon who
has been arrested nearby.

Oh yeah, reality holds, it is just frustrating when the room is there
for more.

seem to remember when I went on a test drive with the girl, the car
was outside the house. Don't recall if her house had a garage.
Different house than the mafia guy.

yeah. I am on a game before the mission but I think I'm quite a way
from getting to it to check.
