Definitely not criticising anyone for liking whatever game / hobby /
etc they like, but I am just fascinated as to what would make someone
want to "love" and "nurture" a virtual pet???
I can see the appeal of the "virtual surgeon" game- these (like saving
the universe) are things that most of us don't get to do in our daily
lives......
...... but patting a virtual dog and making it sit????
Come on........ SELL IT TO ME PEOPLE!!!!!

It makes girls gather round you and go "Awwwww that's so cute!". Instant
female attention.

I know a couple who's kids asked for a PSP for xmas and are instead going to
receive a Nintendo DS with a copy of Nintendogs just so the parents can play
it. Man are those kids gonna be disappointed!
