Actually, it'd be: "Buster Hymen & The Penetraters"
Which is something of an inside joke.

One of our former regs went by the handle RTM - short for Rogue Trader
Maitraya. He's a former NASA Rocket Scientist who now runs his own
company out in Cali-Terminator land. I gamed with him at one point up
in Cleveland as we both had friends living up there at the time and he
was in town on business. RTM had long hair and looked more like a Rock
Star than a rocket surgeon. He was relating that he stopped in a bar
one night and this attractive woman started chatting him up. She asked
him about 'the band' and it dawned on him that she thought he was with
some band that had played that night. She was apparently a bit
embarrassed when RTM clued her in to the contrary. Ever since then I've
occassionally given him a hard time about being "with the band."

So I've got a 40K scale poster with his pic and the above name at his
suggestion.

All right. I love RTM as much as the next guy but he's not the only one here
with hair left on his head.

And he's a rocket scientist.
Surely he could have bluffed and bought her a drink?

Apparently his 'honesty and conscious' got the best of him. (And
here I thought those were just the dump stats during character
creation.) Fortunately for the rest of us, Merkin polotics is devoid of
such needless encumberments.

{Knowing RTM he was doubtless charming, but honest. Apparently the
woman was quite embarrassed when she realized her mistake.}

Holy Smokes! You long haired, Hippy, Fabio looking, Merkin! Get
a job! No - a real job! That hair cut says there's a Harley, sawn-off
shotgun, and a leather jacket with a big 'Hell's Angles' patch on it
somewhere nearby to go with those garage pictures of yours. (Heh!)

I'd post an updated Pic of me, but it takes a fast digital camera
(and we don't have one) to get a non-blurry action shot when you're
chasing your kids around the house with a Samurai sword. (They're fast
little devils I tell you. And their 'ninja like mime abilities' are
amazing...)

Can't remember BAZ?!? Well I suppose that's just the mind's way
of protecting itself from the trauma. Baz was so large that some of us
still suspect that he ate some of the other old regs (Meridian, D, Tom
Belich, etc) that went missing back then. Unfortunately, loud burping
doesn't really hold up in court as 'evidence'.

Hey - I play Tyranids! Here's a few pics from the last few Apocalypse games
that I managed to write up:

Another one from the '08 XMas Apocalypse is in the pipeline...

gonna die horribly now" look from your opponent Smile I hope the pics will also
inspire You.

Very cool pics, and a great battle report. I only looked at the first as I
am a busy man. Excellent paint jobs as well.

One question. Why is the hill shooting at Kenny? Those bastards!

Thanks kindly Smile The color scheme was chosen for simplicity; It's my first
army after returning from years of absence from the hobby, and I knew I could
expect to paint hundreds of the little bugs. I actually made a little
pictorial on it - it may be useful for other players who like me care more
about fielding a fully-painted army in a hurry that about winning painting
contests:

Heh. That's the Ceremonial Blind Barrage, gimp'ed into the photo with all the
artistic skill of a spastic monkey.

In three out of three Apoc games where I've brought my Nid horde, I played
Blind Barrage on the first turn. An assault hordes best friend!

Oh noes, a symphonic concerto! Well, as long as it isn't Wagner, we Nids have
a hard time against both Napalm and Flying Units...
