I found the following on DL 1:

D - the ring of Xyk (right hand)

This ring provides protection from the effects of poisons and venom.

It affects your evasion (+7).

It weighs around 1.0 aum.

Well, to fit the theme, I'd say you'll YASD by having a grey snake show
up while you're testing armour.

Even robes take a couple turns.

But OK, you'll encounter a dagger of distortion whilst sifting through
shortblades in hope of one of protection, immediately get cast into the
Abyss, and be a few shots short of offing a grey snake zombie before it
offs you. The fifth-, fourth-, third-, and second-to-last lines in your
message log will be "The grey snake zombie misses you.".

Better?
