In the late 80s or so there was a politically incorrect freeware game
for the Atari ST called "Schoolyard Slaughter" floating around on
various BBS systems (we didnt have web forums back then

where you
played the perpetrator by moving the cross hairs with your mouse, as
the little cartoon kiddies frantically ran around the playground.. In
the intro to the game, the text read something like "no winging or
wounding your victims, only a clean headshot will do". Anyone else
remember that? My friends and I thought it was pretty damn funny at
the time -- not the premise of shooting kids on a playground, just the
fact someone actually took the time to sit down and create such a
game. And it actually was kind of a addictive, like the various 2D
flash games you see now days.
A few years back I played a Flash game on the web where you had a
choice of being either Tony Blair or George Bush, and the goal was to
see how badly you could wreck your nation and overall peace in the
world. You had various goals like seeing what "high score" you could
get by maximizing gas prices, and getting bonuses for increasing the
ratio of multi-millionaire CEOs to debt-addled middle-income
consumers. Not too different from games like Civilization, there were
a number of ways you could actually win the game.. I remember playing
for the goal of successfully offshoring every last white collar job in
the nation to a country called Asscrapistan. Anyone else play that
one? I can't remember the name or the website.
