I forgot to add, the DS is not a Gameboy and so is off-topic for this
group. You may wish to check out uk.games.video.handheld for further DS
discussion.

I don't know, I haven't got the game. Have you bothered reading the two
walkthroughs I linked to in my earlier reply?

yes i have looked at the walkthrough but it does not give any indication on
how to pick a ball up which i guested that you had to do before i looked at
it.

It *is* off topic. The first line of the charter reads:

"This group is for the discussion of the Nintendo Game Boy range
(including the Game Boy, the Game Boy Pocket, the Game Boy Color, and
the Game Boy Advance, plus any future handhelds from Nintendo bearing
the "Game Boy" name) and its games and peripherals."

The DS does *not* bear the Game Boy name.

The DS is *not* a Game Boy peripheral.

Another Code is *not* a Game Boy game.

As my Xbox can play GBA games by your logic I can discuss Halo 2 etc here.

That's being a pedantic though, isn't it? In most peoples mind, the DS
/is/ a GameBoy (mainly because they havn't been educated otherwise)

Yeah it's off topic, just, but I don't think anyone should be shot-down
for talking about the DS here

That doesn't mean they're right.

He wasn't shot down, he was told where to go for DS discussion.

No. The DS is not a GameBoy.

Well they are wrong. The people you refer to are the same ones that
will probably think the PSP is a Gameboy too, should we talk about that
here as well?

How does politely pointing someone to an appropriate and better
populated group count as being shot-down?

on a side note (whilst admitting defeat), what server do you use for
browsing the newsgroups? I'm connected to news.ntlworld.com, and they
don't have the uk.games.video.handheld group

news.individual.net - A small annual charge, but worth it. No binary groups.
