Hi,
Ive had Civ3 Conquests for a while but have only starting playing some
of the special scenarios recently. In the middle ages scenario, I've
been playing the Byzantia, and recently Venice rebelled to join us, and
they had the shroud of Turin at the time. However, every time I try to
capture this item, the game says that "this unit may not attack more
than once" and so I don't seem to be able to take it (or occupy the
city, although its down as one of mine on the map". It remains a relic
owned by the Burgundians
Is this another bug, or am I donig sumthin wrong (I notice in the
Napoleon scenario, if you offer a miliatary alliance in exchange for
cities, you can win the game - at any level - in one turn .... |

You may very well have uncovered an unknown bug in that conquest. I really
have no suggestions otherwise.

This is a known exploit of the game. Just don't do it on the first turn. The
AI hasn't had a chance to evaluate its position. |
