If any of you guys know Matt aka as Matt's Arcade you may or may not know he
had a herniated disc 2 + years ago, had surgery and still has lots of pain
from the damage...but he still moves games and pinballs around (against
doctor's orders). I would like to buy him a "pinball dolly" (which I've
heard him mention briefly about before) for Christmas. It's not only for
him, but for me too, as I'm getting a little tired of always having to
muscle games around with him and would like to save my own back for a few
more years!
So does anyone know where I can purchase a "pinball dolly"?
If you wouldn't mind emailing me directly to my work address with info, I'd
appreciate it, so I can keep it a secret from my husband...he reads the
posts frequently and hopefully I can figure out how to delete this post so
he doesn't see it! My email is: murrayn.DeleteThis@uwstout.edu
Thanks!

Nancy,
I can appreciate what you want to do for you husband. Very nice of you.
You can get a "high end" pinball dolly sometimes off Ebay, and here is
a current link for one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Penguin-Pinball-Dolly_W0QQitemZ6205967937QQcategor...947QQss
I have a "low end" version that works great, here is the link:

Be aware that someone will have to build an additional platform on top
of the low end one in order to lift a pin off the ground,. |

This is the best thing on the market hands down. I'm not saying
nothing else will work, I'm saying this is top of the line equipment.
Ebay has them once in a while for half the cost. New ones are about 2k
used enay I've seen for $800 or so. One model works like a forklift
and a stairclimber. I have one and can move games by myself. Email me
for more details if needed.

And alternately you can try to find a used Wico pin dolly (at an
operator, auction, show, etc) and have it cleaned up and powdercoated
in any color your husband likes to look better than new for about $300
($200 for the dolly, and $100 for the powdercoating). There was one at
CA Extreme a month ago for $200. I personally prefer the operation
and profile of the older Wico pin dollys to the newer ones from other
manufacturers.
