I'd guess that if it makes it past that laminate coating that all the
carts seem to have, that it's start drying out the labels, they'll
begin to peel, then crack and eventually rot off the cart. What you
can do, if you want, is put some clear tape over where the prints used
to be. This may or may not help the issue. I have done this a few
times, it seems to work out alright...
