Anyone know if there's a nice simple addon that can be set up to give a
display of who is missing a particular buff in a raid? I'm just switching
to Grid from CTRA, it's great for most stuff but I had CTRA set up to
always display the priest buffs and I'm really missing that nice easy
visual reminder of who does and doesn't have any buffs, particularly as you
could mouseover to see how long was remaining on the buff (so a nice
feature on a new addon would be if it had an option to give a few minutes
warning of impending expiry too)

And yes, I know Grid can be set up to show buffs but there's only four
corners and I want to track other things too! Wink Have to say I love the
indicator Grid has of whether someone else is casting a heal on the person,
makes it so much easier to pick heal targets. I actually had my overheal
down to 30% in Karazhan today, normally it's 40-50 due to healing
already-healed people Wink

I use smartbuff, works well for me. Got it off the curse gaming site.

Saw that when I was looking but it looked like one of those "press one key
over and over to do all buffs automatically" ones so I just kinda ignored
it... it actually has a good display as well then? I'm a strange person who
prefers to do stuff manually and mostly just use mods for information Smile

It is pretty much a "press one key" (or button), but I actually like that
about it. The display is a little square for each party member, and an
additional square that shows the icon of the buff needed when it needs to
be applied. You can configure it to skip classes (no thorns on the
priest, for example).

The squares for each party member light up when they've got a debuff on
them that you can do something about; then you can cure poison or dispel
magic as needed. I find it useful for keeping track of who's buffed
and/or who needs a curse removed.

If you use FuBar you cant plug in CorkFu. This gives you a little hover over
popup with those in your raid/party that is missing your buffs. It can be
configured to ignore certain classes too (e.g. Warriors and Rogues for
Intellect).

Try XRaidStatus from wowace
It provides a small window with raid health/mana/alive bars and
lets you add personal buff buttons (hover over it to see who is missing
a buff)

Makes me smile, still, when it tells me Théa needs Touch of Weakness, or
Théa needs Inner Fire..

Seems like it's criticising me...

I have 2 different addons for this.

The best one, by far, is SmartBuff.

It doesn't have a display showing who's missing what, but it will (at regular
intervals) put up a message across the middle of your screen (or wherever
you've configured it) saying somthing like "Group 2 missing Prayer Of
Fortitude", or "Zil missing Divine Spirit". You then press the SmartBuff key
or icon repeatedly and it will apply whatever buffs are missing. You can
easily tell it which buffs you want to apply, and which groups/classes you want
to apply them to, so it's not like it constantly buffs the whole raid with all
3 priest buffs. Also, you can configure the threshold at which to use the group
buffs rather than the individual buffs. Highly recommended for any buffing
class.

The other addon I use which also helps with buffing is XRaidStatus. This tells
you all sorts of things about the raid (once you've configured it to do so)
..e.g how many dead, or PvP flagged, or total percent of priest mana available.
It also has a buff-bar, where it'll show how many people in the raid are
missing a particular buff - hover your mouse over it and you'll get a list of
names. Click on the icon and it'll cast that buff on someone who's missing it.

Both very handy addons, but if I had to choose only one of them, it'd be
SmartBuff.

Hmm looks promising, installed it just now but it's not showing up, guess I
need to be in a raid to configure it, as I can get some info up if I type
/xrs, so it is loaded, but there's nothing visible or configurable on
screen Wink I'll try and sort it properly later on, sounds like it might be
just what I'm looking for. Thanks!
