Anyone have any? Before last week it would have been to buy an Xbox or PS3, but
I've done that already.

So things I'm going to do or am looking forward to:

- Watch less telly and play more games
- Buy a new PC in order to play new things
- MGS4
- Some kind of 1080p MKV streaming solution on the 360

Hmm. I don't see this thread lasting much.

I think I'll have just one gaming one -

Finish Assassin's Creed. (I really want to see it through to the end, but
it's in real danger of being left behind.)

Also, I'll keep my "never pay more than ?25 for a game[1]" rule going.
That's been really very successful.

[1] Store credit and shipping don't count and games that come with extra
hardware (e.g. Guitar Hero) are exempt.

Looks like Wii Fit for everyone then.

I've glanced at the RLLMUK thread about this and I like it so this can be
resolution number one.

Next resolution is to dwindle down my in progress list to a reasonable
number, ideally ending up having no more than one completable game in play
for each system I own. For the PS3 at least, this will be staggeringly easy.

I'll add, spend more time actually playing games than simply reading forums /
newsgroups about them. That would really help clear up my gaming backlog.

Unless you know something I don't my guess is she'll have to wait til
this time next year for it.

Although it's already out in Japan, I've only seen "TBA 2008" as the US
release date -and it's not on the 1st-quarter release list in the States.

I haven't seen any news of an EU release for it, but my pure guess would
be in time for January next year... possibly same for the US, since
everybody at Nintendo knows nobody buys fitness stuff outside New Year
times.

Oh I know. I've told her she'll have to wait for it. Actually I'm quite
looking forward to it as well as I find exercise very boring. This might
make it more interesting.

This may take the whole year so I'm not going to bother with any others.

Buy some flowers, put them in a vase, put them on top of the TV. Get a
cat. All for her. I don't think I need to draw a picture, do I, but the
upside to the broken TV is that it is close to technically impossible to
buy a replacement CRT TV anymore.

I just replaced my CRT with an almost identical one from ebay a few
days ago. £40, as opposed to the £300 it originally cost!
