hmm, i too would like to see it in a shop. though when i bought X2 it
wouldnt play at all. even after trying a few cracks and hacks. i will still
buy this one but i'd like to hear how others install it

In Perth I've seen 3 EB's so far fully stocked with several rows of shelves
for X3.

I didn't see it in any of the big chains like Target etc however, just EB.

I'm playing X3 with a 2.1GHz (overclocked 1.6GHz) CPU and FX5900XT card.
Seems to be running okay on my rig! (I don't have every option turned on
though!)

have 1GB of RAM?

Did you also play X2? IF so, is it fun to play X3 if one already played
X2? I'm just at the beginning of the X2 game. It reminds me very much
on Elite (how comes? ) Yesterday I had a fight with a Pirate but I
had no chance to destroy the ship just with my laser guns. I wonder if
this is even possible? But maybe I'm a bad fighter

Yes...1GB of RAM, Windows XP Home Edition.

I did play X2, but never got all the way through it. I haven't gotten very
far into X3 yet, so I can not honestly comment on much else about the game.
