What do you mean? You mean you mark your cuts and when you process you
get a 0 length file??? It's been a long time since I used it. Are you
sure you're marking the cutpoints correctly? Replayers used it because
it was a cheap mpeg editor to remove commercials. Most now use
VideoRedo. With Ad detective, it finds the commercials for you and
completely outclasses Womble.

That's what I use now. I find in very easy to use.

I use VideoReDo now, but I remember that problem with Womble. It would
create a 0 byte file if I hadn't edited out the first part of a video.
I think removing just 1 frame at the beginning would make it work.

VideoReDo Question - It appears that videoredo.net is down, so I cannot reach the forum. While editing an RTV program in VideoReDo, if I mark the first 15 and last 15 minutes of a one hour program for deletion, if I run Quick Stream Fix before saving the file, does QSF..

Noob Question - does the ir blaster fail to change record channels sometimes because of the input source? i don't seem to have any problems with it when switching channels in the same tier (input source), only when going from RF to in1. perhaps a software problem?

Input question - IIRC there was once a post on how to make a "fake" channel which was really an alternate input device. My primary television service is OTA, Thus I'm set up for OTA I would like to map a channel or make a channel that is in fact "input...

Newbie question - I just got my Replay 5040, and it is working well, I had heard that if it was connected to my home LAN, that I would be able to operate the unit remotely from my computer, and store some of the shows on the laptop, using DVArchive. Installing DVArchive...

Forbidden Question - Since I have not seen this discussion lately, I'll ask. Has anyone figured out how to hack an RTV so that a subscription is not required to do MANUAL recording? Before you blow a gasket, I am asking only in the event that the units become doorstops..
