There are defined field sizes. One may edit with DOS tools but one
needs to be very careful in counting out all the white space (pain in
butt)

Now I remember there is a program that comes with the DOS version of
VGA Planets called NAMERACE.EXE to do what you are looking for. Go to
www.vgaplanets.com and download DOS shareware version and you will get
this program in the packet.

Just run it in the same directory where race.nm is located.
