Hey All,
Last year I purchased a really nice Games Workshop calendar from their
online store. I really enjoyed it because it had some fine artwork from
40K, WH, and even Bloodbowl. Unfortunately, I don't see it listed this
year. Have they had the calendar in years past or was the 2007 calendar
just a one-shot deal?
Also, did they shutdown the official GW forums? For the life of me, I
cannot find them anymore!
Thanks! |

Hmm, I think I'll let someone who knows a bit more answer that one.

The "official" GW forums have been non-existent for quite a while now.
Something about administrative costs. Either that or they got sick of
people constantly calling them on their pricing and IP bullshit. |

According to this:
http://www.blacklibrary.com/product.asp?prod=60719981001&type=Merchandise
There are no 'related products' from the BL.
So, a 2007 calendar can't exist either . . .

They were shut down a long time ago. I still have copies of the stickied FAQ
posts from the GW dev studio, and a lot of the members who posted a lot are
either on Warseer, my site Age of Strife, or kicking around elsewhere.

Well, it exists because I'm looking at it on my wall as I write this. The
ISBN is 1-84416-421-7. I got mine from the US GW Online Store, though.
On a related note, somebody has told me that they've seen a 40K Advent
Calendar in a GW store this year (40K and Advent don't really go together,
though. Strange idea.).

Just like top posting and RGMW don't really go together.
