Well... i got it installed and everything seems to work ok on vista.

I've read about a couple of problems if you install it to the default
program files location. I created a root directory called 'Civ3' and
installed it there just like it was on my old computer. So far there seems
to be no problems doing it like this. I'll know more once i get in the mood
to start a game and play past the first turn.
