Seeing as there are so many of us (not) here let's have a discussion.
What games were there that never made an official release for the DC
(and I mean were not released in any territory) that became 'available'?
That I can think of :
Half-Life - which was playable.
Propeller Arena (final beta)
I also heard rumours of Toe Jam & Earl and GP4 being leaked but never
saw them. |

I got them both working. HL was okay but, given the long load times and
lack of mouse support, it was more of a curiosity and I'd never consider
playing it on that platform.
PA I only tried once. It was similar to Starfox DS, an arcade shooter
with mid-air hovering pickups. I didn't think much of it tbh.

Yes - you are cheating.
I would have loved to see I:War2 and System Shock 2 though.
Once a year or so I still load up I:War on my PC. I waited about 2 years
to get a machine powerful enough to play it. Now I load it, start the
tutorial and turn it off after 30 minuted because there are too many
keys and it's too complicated.
It's the same with Oblivion on the 360 - load, start from scratch
because I can't remember anything, spend an hour in the catacombs,
bored, turn off. |
