But I'm thinking something similar and I'd bet there is a huge market
for a non-child-centric neopets. A bit of humour and a few villains and
they'd be laughing.

Well, Adam mentioned more cute-ness. So...
But let's wait and see what comes out. I hope it will be soon. 2D should be
more easy to create, so maybe it won't be that long.

In fact I got a bit bored with the site, I had played all those flash games
too many times and nothing new came up for a long time. They were busy with
that facebook game, which was not really interesting me.

And also, I was a bit worried about that 3D game, that it would be some kind
of 3D chatroom after all. I am not really a chatter.

They said there will be a new virtual pet site, not related to Twin Skies,
here is a quote from the forums, it's really too much to read it all now.

"It's going to be the most awesomely absurd thing on the Internet. We're not
really aiming to compete with Neopets or anything else out there, we just
need an outlet for all the ideas that are too silly for Twin Skies!"

That sounds good, doesn't it?

He also promised in the thread that it would not be too cute - I just
hope he means that! But cute is OK, just as long as you have humour and
villains to offset.

I routinely log in every day and place my duck race bet but do little else - just been waiting to see what happens next really.

I have a facebook account to keep in contact with a couple of people for
which that is really the only way but I have zero interest (or less!) in
Web 2.0.

Me neither. I have a young relative who plays neopets and neomails and
neomails if he sees me on. I love to say "hi" and am happy to exchange a
couple of messages but then I want to go back to playing neopets!

Yes, the first post from adam mentions a pet site but that donna will
kill him if she says to much.

Personally, I'm quite happy to keep in touch with the TS site with my
daily visits and just wait and see what happens next.
