Don't know if you would really put this in the adventure category (I
do), but as an adventure gamer I have really enjoyed it so far (maybe
30% done). Good logical puzzles that support the plot and story line.
Action (killing tigers etc) is pretty easy (3 out of 5 tigers I shot at
a distance). Graphics are the very best out there (I had to buy a new
graphics card but it was only $69USD for a ATI HD 3650) I admit I have
ALL the TR games but I do enjoy the exploration and adventure side of
them. (and BTW I am too old to be buying these just for Laura )

I remember reading a jokey review about one of the earlier games, I think TR3,
about why the character feels it necessary to swing through the jungle and
shoot chimps in the head. All these years later and she's still shooting wild
animals to pieces. |

There were friendly contests to get through killing as few innocents
(including animals) as possible. I just figured Lara likes killing
animals, else she would have taken tranq ammo into the jungle. OTOH,
the antipathy seems to be mutual -- I'd probably hate animals too if
so many of them attacked me on site. |

I can't believe I typed "on site" when I meant "on sight". Oh, well.

I've just read that in TR: Underground, she actually uses a tranq gun.
I won't be playing, though -- the Crystal Dynamics TRs just don't have
that magic for me. |
