The Games Club Monthly: Single Elimination Challenge

INTRODUCTION
We have decided to improve our own version of UKG Tournaments' flight system
for running this month's The Games Club Monthly: Single Elimination
Challenge, you only pay an entrance fee of £5 for the first flight and then
£1 for each additional flight.

Each flight will contain 8 players and will be run as a Single Elimination
tournament. Players will receive a Shards of Alara Block Booster for each
match they win. Whenever a player is eliminated they have the option to
enrol into another flight for just £1. Players are allowed to modify their
deck or even completely change deck or format before their next tournament
begins.

The best performing players across all flights will receive a share of the
end of day prize pool of 2 x Shards of Alara Block boosters per player.

Each flight will also count towards the Magic Player Rewards program
operated by Wizards of the Coast, where for every 5 tournaments, you receive
2 random token cards; and for every 20 tournaments, you receive a premium
card, currently an Alternative Artwork Damnation. Go to the Magic Player

PARKING
FREE parking is readily available on single yellow lines from 1:30pm.
There is a limited amount of parking available at meters and pay & display
bays, prior to 1:30pm and costs from 20p for 5 minutes.
There is underground car park available at the nearby Royal National Hotel.
The cost of parking at the hotel starts at £3 (2 hours) and goes up to £15
(24 hours).

CONGESTION CHARGE
The charge does NOT apply at weekends.
The £8 daily Congestion Charge zone covers most of central London, including
the venue used by The Games Club. The congestion charge applies from 7.00am
to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public Holidays.
