Who knows.
However, given that we live in the year 2008 and not 1998%, and that
the % amount of broadband compared to modems connections in most of
the civilized world is probably the same as modems vs. broadband was
back in 1998, the logical choice would naturally be to optimize it for
broadband connections.
How (un)playable that means it well be on modems remains to be seen,
until the game is released. |

Reasonable.

It would be better if one could choose map size based on expected speed
of connection, for example, 64-player for broadband and 8 player for 33.6k.

It's ok, it's ok!
There's even a plugin for SC now that changes the default built-in
half-a-second B.net latency delay to LAN lan level, tho it requires
both players to be using said thing. |

Starcraft Clans??? - I checked the web and have not found a clan I like. I wanted a clan with mature players that play Starcraft regularly. I don't mind if they play other games. Any suggestions?
Playing Starcraft for first time - So, I'm about to play Startcraft, for the first time, sort of. I have played it before but didn't get very far into the game. I also have the Brood War expansion. Should I install this straight away? Does it make any changes to the original game, bad....
10th mission Terrian (original StarCraft) 29min 46sec TOTAL - After trying for probably more than a year: I have just succeeded in completing the 10th Terrian mission from the Original StarCraft in 29min and 46sec (under 30 minutes) after completely destroying all buildings from both Alpha Squadron and Elite Guard...
