My xbox is currently downstairs next to my router hardwired, the tv is on
the blink so want it upstairs now. Could I connect it to my PC share the
wireless connection from up there and it will all work great and fine?

You need a free ethernet port, a crossover cable and an ICS tutorial.

if its a 360 then a normal cable will do, as the port senses patch \
crossover...
