Post subject: SOT: FS in Va. Dangerous Curves Sit Down Driving Game
Archived from groups: rec>games>pinball (more info?)

I am selling my rare Dangerous Curves sit down driving game. It was
manuafactured by Taito in 1995 for European use only and was not
introduced into the US. I bought and restored the game in 2000 and it
has been in my basement arcade since then.
It is the only driving game that features motorcycyles, (Ducatti)
racing against cars. This game is not like most driving games that you
race laps on one circuit. This is one long track that starts out in
the city of Tokyo, moves into the suburbs, through the mountains and
back into the city. You get time extensions throughout the game if
your fast enough. The cars seem faster on the straighter roads and the
motorcycles faster on the mountain roads. Road signs are written in
Japanese. Car, etc.. selection screens are written in Japanese and
english.
I totally dismantled and repainted the game, added a real racing seat,
speaker on the motorcycle, etc... Placed carpeting on the floor, and
some stickers, "Drive it like you stole it".
Like I said this is a rare game that was never introduced into the US
and as far as I can find it is the only one in the US. I found and
bought a manual from New Zealand that is written in Japanese and
English.
This is a really cool game, fast and everything works 100%
I am asking $2,000. for the game and you can see pics at

Pick up in Fredericksburg, Va. 22407

Thanks,
Brian

I have personally seen this game at Brian's house. Anyone looking for
this title will be hard pressed to find a nicer one. He definately
put some time in this one. It looks great. Oh, and last I saw of it,
it worked just as well.
