Do you play online on PSN a lot? They look into your gaming habits to
decide who gets a key...
For me, other than playing Resistance once every week or two, I don't
play online on PSN much, so I don't expect an invite
Hi Steve, I think you could be right about Sony checking online habits of
beta applicants, but if I'm honest, I play my 360 a lot more than my PS3 and
I never play my PS3 online.
My brother in-law applied for a key before I did but he didn't get one - and
he plays online in the PSN like every day.
Sony probably give out a few beta keys to people like myself to try to tempt
us away from the competition but most of the folks I've met playing the beta
are pretty hard core Sony fans. Maybe it is just random selection and I got
lucky or perhaps I fit the demographic better. It might have been selected
because I've participated in Betas before - I guess we'll never know.
I was hoping to get on the SOCOM beta when I applied but I'll take what I
can get.
