Resident Evil 5 not til 2008

So far for 2007 i'm only looking forward to a few games unlike 2006 which

I'm not really looking forward to halo 3. Like I did for GOW. I'm not to
big on arcade like fps games. I prefer ones more like rainbow six or even
COD. To me a guy in a 200 lb suit jumping all over the place like a jack
rabbit & stealing other rides and just run and gunning isn't for me. I think
in halo 2 I played more of the alien then master chief. I heard online play
is where it's at for halo.
With lost planet looking like a average shooter. Forza being pushed back it
might be a long wait for something good.

I'm kinda surprised at your statement considering how amazingly strong the
360's lineup is for 2007, it might just be the best lineup schedule the xbox
brand has ever had. Crackdown, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Lost Planet, Command
& Conquer 3, Virtua Fighter 5, Burnout 5, Overlord, Bullet Witch, Halo3,
Grand Theft Auto 4, Assassin's Creed, Clive Barker's Jericho, Timeshift,
Fall of Liberty, Forza 2, Project IM, Alone in the Dark, Lord of the Rings:
The White Council, etc... Many good exclusives and sleeper hits in that
list...

It does have some big names. Lost planet from the few reviews seems like a
straight average shooter with insane difficulty. I'm not sure of crackdown
or mass effect. Those I think are wait for some opinions and hope they are
ok.
As for GTA i'm just burned out on the series unless they add some good new
features to it i'm just going to pass on it. Playing 3 console versions and
2 psp versions of what seems like the same game now has drained me for the
series.
For c&c & LOTR they might be good but rts on consoles haven't had much
luck. Aren't both being made by EA? I can't remember who bought the C&C
license.
I am looking forward to forza, Bioshock, Alone in the dark & Assasin's
Creed. VF5 & the rest i'm up in the air about.
I'm sure more games will surface.
This year for november and december I bought around 12 360 games alone
because everything seemed to get released in like a 3 week period. (Lucky I
saved up most of the year to buy all those) I'm not a huge Halo fan but, i'm
sure the hype will get to me and i'll preorder it. I'm still not putting
down $100 for the 4 dvd set
