Post subject: Resident Evil 2? Archived from groups: alt>games>video>xbox (more info?)
Has anybody read anything anywhere that might indicate that Capcom
might do a remake of Resident Evil 2 in the same vein as the remake of
Resident Evil on the GameCube? It seems Capcom is focused on their
reinvented Resident Evil series and their newer IPs now, but one can
always hold out hope... :-\

I'm surprised they never did it on the Gamecube. RE: Remake did well,
as did RE: 0 (still GC exclusive all these years later) and RE: 4.
I would have thought, if they were going to do it, that they would
have done it years ago.

Resident Evil 5 spoiler? - A new print ad in Japan shows Chris Redfield kneeling in front of the tombstone of one of Resident Evil's main characters. Whether this means that the character is actually dead or this is just an indication of a motivating factor in the story is unknown...
