I know it can control a DTV box, I'm using it on my D10-100.
I was wondering, can a ReplayTV control via serial a FTA STB? If so what
brands?

TIA

Serial control was only for satellite, but if you found a set top box
that used the same codes, it would probably work. Since you can add
custom IR codes to a 5K, most people use the blasters. The new digital
box OTA converters by RCA use the same codes as there other things and
nothing has to be done to the Replay. The Paterson translator is also
available to control new sat boxes via USB to serial.

I do not have the full list, However I'm told it can control A Coolsat
FTA box. (Among others) I have the software but have not yet run it

I think it does so via I/R though, not data port.

You have to run a "hack" on the replay though. The AVS forums have the
info, and I think the software.
