Where did you get the Georgian doors and windows you use in your shops?
They're blue in my game, so I need to download the originals to get the
meshes. Windkeeper @ TSR? I vaguely remember Windkeeper having something
named Georgian door/window.
Cheers!

There's a nice set at MTS2 which was released recently. Forget the maker
but it was in the featured uploads. Mim wouldn't pay, so if it was
Windkeeper, she'd've got it from the booty.
Best wishes

Found the right-looking doors and windows by phoenix_phaerie so they are
likely to be the ones. She posts at both TSR and MTS2 and her stuff is free.
I'm going to fire up the game and see if phoenix_pharie's doors and windows
fixed the blue problem. And I had a look at Windkeeper's booty stuff and
there is no Georgian set there. I probably got the right one. Had the same
problem with katy's winding staircase house and now that I think about it,
those were probably the same items.
Cheers!

Definately if they're Windkeeper's they're booty - TSR Windkeeper probably.
Did you find them or do I need to do a little research?

They were the phoenix_phaerie Georgian windows. Just so everyone who doesn't
have them and ends up with blue items in their inventory knows for future
reference:
http://www.modthesims2.com/download.php?f=408&showType=2&tag=georgian&...t=1&typ
I got both sets so don't know which one the actual windows in your shops
came from.
Oh, yeah, and if you need to update thumbnails in your buy or build
catalogue (mine continued to look blue in spite of putting the sets in
Downloads), you press Ctrl and right mouse click on the thumbnail to update
it. Easier than deleting the thumbnails folder and then waiting for all the
thumbnails to load again once back in-game. Works for default replacement
beddings, etc, as well, so not just the main thumbnail but the recolours,
too.
Cheers!

Oh, them. They're nice. I have both sets in my game.
And speaking of thumbnails - does anyone know how to alter the thumbnail
that appears in the jewelry options window? Some of the jewelery I have has
custom thumbs and some doesn't. I would like to add custom thumbs so that I
can damned well see what the jewelery is.

I think if it's a skin, you can just go in with SimPe and find the thumbnail
in the images section and do the usual import/export. The other alterative
is to do it with Bodyshop and you should be able to replace the thumbnail
image before you import - though that's only with things like make up - I
don't know about the jewellery, whether you get to make a thumbnail or not.
Try checking it out with those bunny slippers by fanseelamb - he made his
own thumbnail for those.
Best wishes

There was a post about this at Sims2Community a couple of months back and
I'm pretty sure there *was* a solution. I'll go look for the post for you.

The tutorial Engram pointed me towards looks good. Very step by step.
