How does this work, out of interest?
If you buy the Broken Steel DLC, does it in any way interfere with your
progress through the main game? Is it just another set of quests within the
existing world, or a completely new map? Does it follow on from the 'end' of
the main quests in the original game, or is it effectively a set of
side-quests? Does the level cap rise to 30 simply by the DLC being present,
or only on starting a Broken Steel quest?

In short, should I wait until 'completing' the main game before buying
Broken Steel, or will I get any benefits from buying it ahead of time?

Mr Driller is great fun and a bargain at 59p

The level cap rises to 30 once you have the DLC. Broken Steel continues on
from the main game, it also solves the issue of the game stopping after you
have completed the main quest and not letting you back to wander the
wasteland.

I would say buy it now because it will mean you can continue your main game
& the level cap will goto 30.

Got mates coming over for a Scene It party next week - looking forward
to trying it (and showing off my telly)!

Second lot of DLC. First lot (Operation Anchorage) didn't up the cap, but
the second lot (Broken Steel) did.

Broken Steel is an extention to the main quest, so you can't activate it
until you've completed the game. Whether it lets the cap increase kick in
before that point, I don't know.

Yes the level cap kicks in straight away.

Doesn't it do that anyway, even without clearing the game?

Nowhere should be impossible without a restart, but there were quite a
few areas that just weren't actually attainable so I ended up giving up
trying to work out which one or two blocks on the entire bloody map it
was that I was supposed to go into.

It was going on Amazon for a low low price as well. That's where I picked
it up. My missus loves quiz games - she's quite peeved that 1 vs 100 has
finished.

My youngest started crawling two weeks ago, and has now added to his
skillset by learning to pull himself up to a standing position. He has
already set about rearranging everything in the house!

The Wii sensor bar was the first to go ...

He's only 9 months old this week - I fear he may be a handful.

You can order it today and get it tomorrow (or the day after) for around
28quid from tronixweb.

I ordered mine the other day, but won't be receiving it yet as I
preordered Scribblenauts while I was at it.
