Zo, I didn't mean to scaremonger...

Your initial HD DVD discs will be fine as the *discs* themselves are
region-free, so they will play no matter what region lock m$ may ( or may
not, even) put on the Xbox360 HD DVD drive, so your initial discs will be
fine.

Once m$ do an upgrade, AND hd dvd discs are region coded, then you might
have a problem.

Incidentally...do you have a 360 HD DVD add on?

I am soo tempted to get one, but don't know anywhere you can walk into a
shop and buy one over the counter...I'm not into buying stuff like this
online!

Well hopefully once that happens, there will actually be a selection of
discs available in the UK and they won't be stupidly priced.

Well I ordered mine from Gameplay, but apparently supplies will be
limited and they might not be available for over-the-counter purchases
for a while.
