Gigabyte NForce 570 sli chipset motherboard with 4400 dual core amd
processor.
I'm running two Geforce graphics cards, but not sli. The card I'm
playing on is an xfx 9600gt, with a msi nx8400gs for my spare monitor
(not being used in the game).
I'm basicly staring at walls. I turn, catch a glimps of something,
I'm staring at a wall, I'm dead. I'd expect better on the 8400 card;
I should be blasting on this one. My mom's e-machine wasn't this bad,
back when I first got the game.
(Looks like I may have to reinstall Windows. After quitting out of
UT, I ran Partition Magic 8 to reduce a partition from 400 something
gigs to 56, and the program locked up. Now the partition the game is
on is lost, and PM won't run. Fortunately, I've got a utility that
can find files on lost partitions, but I need a new hard drive to save
the files to.) |

You are probably already sorted out, but I would guess your trouble is in
the multi-monitor. Try disabling one (maybe actually unseat the card) and
see if it clears up. |

My config: Asus M2N-E (570 ultra), GF8600GT, Vi$ta Ultimate 64-bit
I could still play original UT with latest patch. The turning
is a bit too fast though... I nearly lost my sense of direction.

Grab the dual-core optimiser program from AMD's site, makes a massive
change to UT99.
I'm running 4400 X2, 7600gt on nvidia chipset. UT99 was unplayable
before, ran that widget, perfect since. |
