Hey Brian...
A person who frequents this newsgroup got back to me with an IRC chat site
that's ST- and story-based. There's a bit of a learning curve to IRC
chatting (you'll also need to download IRC chatting software), but if you
give the format a chance, I think you'll see that it's the only way to play
online. Here's a link to the site's webpage listing of currently running

They have several stories running and a schedule of when they play, making
it VERY different than the usual SeaChat sites I've encountered. Check it
